CCA Welcomes Two New Board Directors
CCA's 2012 Annual General Meeting was held on the 27th of June at Parliament House in Canberra. 24 CCA members attended the Senate Committee Room meeting and were joined the Assistant Treasurer the Hon. David Bradbury MP over lunch. Minister Bradbury provided an update for members on the government's NFP reform agenda, providing some insight into the ACNC legislation and answering questions from members around the government's 'Better Targeting' initative.
The AGM was held following lunch. The Chairman, CEO and Finance reports were tabled and discussed, followed by the appointment of office bearers. CCA is pleased to announce that two new board directors were unanimously appointed during the meeting. If you are interested in receiving a copy of the reports from the AGM, please contact CCA.
Anne Hollonds, CEO of the Benevolent Society and Dr Dennis Young, CEO of Drug Arm have joined CCA's board while Susan Donnelly has stepped down. The changes increase CCA's board to 12 directors, in line with the maximum number allowable under CCA's constitution. Directors are appointed for three year terms.
